Industry standard is 10-30% of overall spend. Depending on scope of services, MELI falls within that range. We also pass along our industry discounts to our clients, if available.

A Destination Management Company (DMC) is a local partner who supports the operational side of an event within a specific destination. This often includes hotel coordination, transportation, staffing, and booking local activities or excursions.
MELI operates as a destination event planner, leading the full experience from start to finish. Beyond logistics, we shape the creative direction, design the program, and curate experiences that feel deeply connected to the place—thoughtful, immersive, and anything but generic.

Many of the events we produce come together within a 3–6 month timeframe. That said, the earlier we’re brought in, the more strategic and comprehensive the planning process can be.
With 6+ months, we’re able to support venue sourcing, hotel coordination, and transportation logistics in a significant way.
If you’re working with a shorter timeline, we’re highly efficient and know how to move quickly without compromising quality.

1. Discovery: We learn your objectives, group profile, budget, and timing. This is where we define success together.
2. Onboarding: We align on scope, process, timelines, and communication so everything is clear before we begin.
3. Venue Sourcing: We identify and present a curated shortlist of 3–5 venues based on your criteria and the experience you want to create.
4. Contracting: We manage negotiations and review all hotel and vendor contracts on your behalf.
5. Design + Planning: We build the full experience, including agenda, F&B, programming, design direction, and logistics.
6. On-Site Execution: We are on the ground managing every detail so the experience runs smoothly from start to finish.
